DESCRIPTION: In this lesson, you will learn how to create a quick and expressive architectural sketch, focusing on light, atmosphere, and overall impression rather than details.

MATERIALS:

  • Paper: Baohong Classic, 300 gsm, cold pressed (grain fin)

  •  • Paints: Payne’s Grey, Amethyst Genuine, Quinacridone Sienna, New Gamboge, Cobalt Blue

  •  Brushes:

  • Brushes of different sizes, soft and synthetic (I prefer round brushes)

  • A large brush for wetting the paper

  • Pencil, eraser

  • Two jars of water

  • Spray bottle

  • Sponge (for wiping the brush and removing excess moisture)
