Watercolor Urban Sketching Workshop

In this focused 3-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to build strong one-point perspective and create a convincing sense of depth using both linear and atmospheric perspective. Through guided exercises, we’ll explore essential watercolor techniques to create beautiful washes, work confidently with tone and color, and bring structure and life to your cityscapes.

What You’ll Learn:

• One-Point Perspective: Master the basics of composition through clear, practical steps.

• Depth & Space: Use linear and atmospheric perspective to make your sketches feel deep and dynamic.

• Watercolor Techniques: Explore a range of washes and textures to enrich your work.

• Final Sketch: Create a complete urban scene using the skills you’ve practiced.
